Magical Labyrinth Weekend Workshops in Cornwall

Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of the labyrinth on a magical weekend in Cornwall. This two day workshop is presented by Tony Aercyus Christie and consists of a labyrinth building workshop on the Saturday, followed by a “Joy of the Labyrinth” workshop on the Sunday.
The weekend will include an optional trip to experience the labyrinth rock carvings at Rocky Valley near Tintagel, and the Troy Stone labyrinth in the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle.

Day 1, Saturday 19th April 2023: Creating the Sacred Space of the Labyrinth
Introduction: This Labyrinth Building Workshop is designed to enable you to build your own labyrinth. It also entails connecting with the labyrinth on a number of levels to receive the most benefit from creating and walking your labyrinth. During this workshop you will gain knowledge and understanding of the labyrinth, particularly the symbolism contained within the labyrinth that you will be constructing. You will also experience the beautiful energy of the labyrinth and the benefits of walking a labyrinth. We will be constructing a labyrinth on site that we will use during the weekend.

Day 1 will include:
• The history, origins and uses of the labyrinth
• Learning about the hidden symbolism in the labyrinth
• Different types of labyrinths
• How to draw & Build a classical labyrinth
• Creating and building your own sacred space of the labyrinth
• Locating and orienting your labyrinth
• Different methods for marking out your own labyrinth on the ground
• What materials to use in constructing your labyrinth
• Practical exercises in creating your own labyrinth
• Guided labyrinth walk on a labyrinth that we create

Day 2: The “Joy of the Labyrinth” Workshop
This second day is about experiencing the labyrinth in all its aspects. Drawing on years of working with the labyrinth and pursuing his own spiritual path, Tony will be sharing his wisdom and joining with you on this stage of your journey. The workshop features a threefold approach of learning, experiencing the labyrinth and time for reflection so that you can get more fully in touch with your inner essence and wisdom, and take the next steps on your soul’s journey.
You will learn new information about the labyrinth: some of it being revealed for the first time. Experiences of the labyrinth will include advanced labyrinth walking practices and new ways of using the labyrinth. You will also have some time for personal reflection so you can integrate the knowledge and experiences.

Day 2: This profound Labyrinth Wisdom workshop will include:
• Creating the Labyrinth Temple of You
• Accessing your Inner Joy through the Labyrinth
• Using the labyrinth to find guidance and insights
• The connections between the labyrinth and other spiritual paths
• Melchizedek Labyrinth Meditation
• Labyrinth mythology: Theseus and The Minotaur
• Exploring your life’s purpose through the labyrinth
• Connecting to your cosmic power source through the labyrinth
• Guided labyrinth walk of Joy
• Labyrinth Wisdom Card Reading
• Labyrinth based meditations, practices, and experiential exercises to access your inner joy, and to experience the labyrinth as a symbol of Oneness

Optional labyrinth Trip
After the workshop there is an optional trip (using your own or shared transport) to the Rocky Valley rock carving labyrinth at Tintagel, and the Troy Stone at the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic in Boscastle, followed by an evening meal at a local restaurant.

Fee:
1. Fee: Two Day Weekend: £195 / £165(early bird)
2. There is the option of attending for one day on either day. The fee for one day: £115 / £95 (Early bird special price before 17 March 2023)
There is no charge for the optional evening visit to the labyrinths at Rocky Valley, Tintagel and Boscastle. There is an admission fee of £7 to the Museum in Boscastle. It is necessary to have your own transport, or share transport for this part of the weekend.
